What is a Thai Foot Massage?
Thai Foot Massage is a traditional holistic therapy rooted in ancient Thai medicine. This treatment focuses on the feet and lower legs, combining elements of acupressure, reflexology, and energy line work to promote balance, relaxation, and overall wellbeing.
Using the thumbs, fingers, knuckles, and a traditional Thai wooden stick, the therapist applies rhythmic pressure to reflex points on the feet, as well as working along energy lines known as the Sen. These lines are believed to carry the body’s life force, or Prana, and by stimulating them, Thai Foot Massage helps restore energetic balance throughout the body.
