This Hybrid Head Spa can be optionally Plumbed in to be able to use the shower head function, however if your workspace is small or doesnt have a water supply this unit works as a free standing unit (without the use of the showerhead) as the halo itself is sufficient enough to wash all product out of the hair, this is exactly like our white head spa but without the tank (the tank on a white head spa is used solely to service the shower head) both our Black Hybrid Plumbed/Non Plumbed Unit and our White 60L Tank Non Plumbed Unit work in the same way to cycle the water to the halo by pulling water from the basin through a filter by a water pump that pushes the water through a water heater that comes back out into the basin via the Halo, regular checks of the filters and pumps are essential to keeping your unit in top condition and ensuring that hair and debry are not moving into the water pump or heater causing these elements to stop working. The White 60L Tank Non Plumbed Portable Unithas a 60L tank that services the shower head only there is a water heater that ensures the water remains at a suitable tempreture (water should not be left in this tank overnight), the water cycle to the halo works in the same way as the black hybrid unit by pulling water from the basin through a filter by a water pump that pushes the water through a water heater that comes back out into the basin via the Halo, regular checks of the filters and pumps are essential to keeping your unit in top condition and ensuring that hair and debry are not moving into the water pump or heater causing these elements to stop working.
